Ever since I begun to pay attention to the way I dress , I faced the issue of feminity.  I must confess, I am not the type of girl who wears heels and skirts on a daily basis and as you can see, I'd rather cut my hair shorter than grow it long. Therefore, not only once, I asked my self " How feminine can I look? ".
I've been experiencing a lot lately with heels and skirts  and I think this outfit is the best I can do so far. (I still can't abandon my structured jacket and hat, ups !).Nevertheless, there is one thing that I always hated: not being decent or showing too much in an attempt to be feminine.
So, I would like to hear your opinions on this topic : FEMINITY :)
Any comment is very much welcome.

wearing : no name heels, mondex tights, mango dress, vero moda blazer, random accesories

NOVEMBER OUTFIT | Secret Love : Salvador Dali

Finally, a special outfit post for you, dear readers. Not only I wore some of my favourite clothes but also I wanted to share with you my indescribable love for Salvador Dali's work & lifestyle. After reading his book, Diary of a Genius last winter, I felt I need to know more about this complex man. Luckly, as my father is a painter, he has all sorts of books and encyclopedies to serve as inspiration when it lacks, so I was more than thrilled when I found the Taschen book.
But enough about this, because I want you to tell me if you like Dali's work or what painter you admire ?

wearing : New look booties, Mondex Sibiu tights, thrifted shorts & shirt, vintage blazer, golden necklace from Oser, the local flea market and Topshop earrings from my bestfriend

ARCHITECTURE | Cape Town, South Africa

I don't think there are enough words to describe how much I  love/adore/want/need this house. Bridle Road Residence in Cape Town, South Africa is too perfect for this world !
NOT TO MENTION, the self-cleaning outdoor pool, natural cross-ventilation, use of earth temperature as climactic moderator, use of heat-repelling glass

Fabulous job,  Antonio Zaninovic !

Hello my dear followers ! I took these indoors photos because I was too lazy to go and freeze outside [I hope you like them though]. I missed wearing this pair of loose pants and of course I won't be able to wear them again without other 4 pairs underneath , but still.. && Have you seen the shoes ? I stole them from my sister's closet because they are so confortable and I believe they upgrade my outfit (shame on me!). See you soon :x
Oh, and I know that it is said that black + brown don't go at all, but what is your opinion ?

PS: DID YOU MISSED TOTO ? I know he missed being a star on the blog :)

I wish you a fabulous week ! ;x

... the lovely designers from MAGAZINE BAG ! Some time ago, while browsing on I read an interview with the two girls behind Magazine Bag concept and I felt in love with their creations :)
So here you have a special interview just for you, my dear readers !
Hope you like it and any kind of feedback is more than welcome in the comment section below !

Why Magazine Bag?
Magazine Bag because we felt a strong need for something new and modern, for novelty, and because we were sick of all that identical products from the stores; indeed, one of them can represent core-pieces but on the other hand they are a real danger for our budget savings. Plus, when we realised that we have a few free time that can be valued in some ways, we started searching for something, and we found this very pleasant activity. We realised that we have all the suport we need from our friends and than we thought that it’s not such a bad idea to let ourselves inspired by them in manufacturing this nice purses made of magazine paper.

Who is involved in the manufacture of the purses?
The participants are to girls with a bit of imagination and a third one who is the paper provider :) But until we become a factory with dozens of little chinese girls helping us knit the paper , we have a looot of work to be done ! However, we have big plans !

What does the process of creating the bags consist of ?
It’ s not quite simple…first of all we have to decide the bag’s design with the person who requested the purse. Once we found the colour and the shape we sort the material, then cut it (here we use a stencil that we initially created),  then comes the bending part, the knitting and the sewing stage. Finally we apply the accessories (the zipper, the staples etc.) and on demand we can apply a lacquer layer to increase the resistance. Now the purse can be worn on a daily basis  or in the evening, assorted or in contrast with the rest of the outfit, what’s important is that it must  impress, surprise and arouse admiration. The shortest time needed for making a purse is two days and the longest, a week - according to it’s complexity (not to mention  that we also have a full-time job responsibility) .
For what type of woman do you create ?
We didn’t think about the demographic profile of our clients J, we can say that Poseta dinRevista Eco addresses to every woman concerned about beauty and novelty, interested in recycling and always looking for new items for her wardrobe.

Do you think that nowadays, women need more durable  products or unique ones ?
Unique products can be sustainable at the same time, it’s not mandatory to make such a distinction, nowadays I think that women want products that can easily bring a smile on their faces and can make them feel pretty.

Where can we find you ?
Girls - or boys who want to surprise their girlfriends - can find us in Cluj-Napoca, they can write to us, search for us on Facebook ( Poseta dinRevista Eco)  or they can see a part of the products by visiting out Breslo  !

Special thanks to for letting me use the photos & of course, to the girls who were kind & patient enough to answer this interview :) Did you like it ?

 Yours truly, Julls ♥

NOVEMBER OUTFIT | Do it yourself and wear it ♥

Hello again my dear followers :) I found myself lacking inspiration  and while browsing through my closet I found this old DIY project of mine : the ACID dress. I quickly added the grey thrifted men's blazer, New Look booties and some silver accesories (including the DIY monstous safety pins earrings which I totally adore).Lucky, the weather is quite warm for this time of the year and therefore I can experiment as much as I want. Hope you like this outfit !

I love you, Samuel Beckett !

I usually don't talk too much about my private life here on the blog but this is too important not to be written down. Mabye some of you know this : my biggest passion in life, after fashion or ahead of it (i can't decide) is theatre.I've been acting since 1st grade and not only once I was convinced I will keep on acting  for the rest of my life. But even tough I decided to follow another direction , this passion didn't leave me. Therefore, this weekend we played in a local festival and the judges were all actors and teachers at the Theatre and Television faculty , here in Cluj. You can't imagine how elated I was when we won 5 prizes : BEST ACTOR, BEST ACTRESS, BEST COSTUMES & SCENOGRAPHY , BEST STAGE DIRECTION AND BEST ACT ! We played Samuel Beckett's ALL THAT FALL, a radiophonic play..

Thanks from the bottom of my heart for my English teacher (the director), my team mates : Adi, Ana, Criss and Andrei and to the judges who made my day brighter. LONG LIVE THE THEATRE !

PS: Tomorrow : outfit post , so STAY TUNED :x

NOVEMBER OUTFIT | it's gonna get LOUDER !

If only you knew how happy I get every time I see someone following my blog. Now I've reached 276 lovely people who are interested in what I post here - and I really hope I won't let you down. I put quite an effort into improving this blog : for example , these photos were taken at 0 degrees Celsius by my faithful cousin :)
But the most satisfying part of this is seeing that people appreciate your work and time.
Thank you, thank you , thank you !
There is only one thing you have to remember : IS GONNA GET LOUDER !

About the outfit : this is a very quick and easy to wear one. I wanted to wear this shirt regardless the weather - but of course, feeling confortable wins everytime and that is why I added the big circle scarf. Wondering what's with the heels ? They belong to my sister actually and I wore them to the prom  (pictures coming soon!) and surprisingly, they didn't kill me ! && the earrings have a big sentimental value as they were given to me by my darling English teacher.
