Ever since I begun to pay attention to the way I dress , I faced the issue of feminity. I must confess, I am not the type of girl who wears heels and skirts on a daily basis and as you can see, I'd rather cut my hair shorter than grow it long. Therefore, not only once, I asked my self " How feminine can I look? ".
I've been experiencing a lot lately with heels and skirts and I think this outfit is the best I can do so far. (I still can't abandon my structured jacket and hat, ups !).Nevertheless, there is one thing that I always hated: not being decent or showing too much in an attempt to be feminine.

So, I would like to hear your opinions on this topic : FEMINITY :)

Smiles!
Feminity is within you! has nothing to do with clothes , make up or hairstyle to me ... <3 You look great no matter what my dear
ReplyDeleteI think this look is really beautiful, feminine yet with an edgy look. Personally I don't think that girls who show too much look feminine at all, it are the girls who wear beautiful long skirts and classy dresses who look the most feminine to me. Loving your hat!

I have to start off by saying that the outfit you wore in the last post is amazing! I love it soooo much (I think it's my favorite)!! <3
ReplyDeleteAnywhoodle...
To be honest with you, I don't know what it is to be "feminine". The only thing that comes to mind when I think of that word is the stereotypical image of wearing dresses, pink, long hair, etc... I don't agree that women have to follow that stereotype.
With that said, short hair or not, you are a gorgeous woman as long as you stay true to yourself!
I love following your blog...

I love this. I love your hair, your style, and what you wrote. Femininity can be anything, as long as you feel beautiful in it :) xxAnisa
ReplyDeleteLove the lip pin. Great addition! And the tights. I love wearing them...they make me feel safer somehow. lol.
ReplyDeleteThank you ladies for your kind words. They are highly appreciated !
ReplyDeleteYou look very feminine even when you're wearing sneakers. About feminity, I think it all comes down to this -You either have it, or you don't-
ReplyDeleteLove the dress ♥
Love it! Super adorable! Feminity comes down to what you define as femine.

I think you look very feminine in your own unique way, feminity it's about feeling you belong in your clothes and they can tell something about you.:)
ReplyDeleteyou look amaizng its not even funny how feminine you look but still with the edge , the hat makes it , i think thats how i would dress if i had to wear feminine stuff
ReplyDeleteand you look gorgeous gorgeous
Oooo love how you incorporate that blazer into the outfit. And that lip badge is adorable!!!

I myself, am very feminine. I love pink ,floral, dresses, etc. But at the same time I think short hair and a pair of trousers are very classic! So I think, you nailed it with this outfit- you found a way to mix the two and it turned out very cute!
ReplyDeleteps: I am now following your blog!
I think femininity is totally an attitude not a way of dressing really. It's great to have a unique style. I am myself a quite feminine girl, skirts and dresses and all that jazz but love to wear masculine clothes from time to time :)

In my opinion - mascara. It doesn't matter what you have on- as long as you feel great in it. Add one coat of mascara and you're all kinds of feminine.
ReplyDeleteLooking great!

I think you can be feminine without showing much skin at all. I think everyone's perception of being feminine is different. I love your outfit a lot. Great dress! :)SarahD
ReplyDeleteYou rocked this look! I'm not super feminine either, but I do try to incorporate girly pieces to my outfits. I prefer edgy styles rather than girly ones though. <3
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for stopping by my blog. If you like, we should totally follow each other!

Really interesting topic! To me, femininity is not about one's outfit but her personality and attitude. I think Olivia Palermo is one good example. I remember once seeing her in jeans and sneakers and she still look so gorgeously feminine. =)

nice post. i love being feminine. and wearing dresses and skirts, but i also love being able to be boy-ish when i feel like that.. im a sneakers kind of girl, because it's comfier and my boyfriend thinks it looks better when i wear sneakers than heels. so it's a winwin..

adorable look...so amazing hat!
ReplyDeleteI like it the thing with short hair is is versatile you can look feminine, our more androgynous or feminine and edgy wear what you want you look fab!
ReplyDeleteI love the tights and heels combo - they're great for streamlining the outfit and giving the appearance of more height. The sweater dress is really cute too.
ReplyDeleteI think you have a very good mix of feminine and masculine pieces in this outfit. You should wear what you want and not worry about looking "feminine" enough. As long as you feel good in what you're wearing, that's all that matters :)
I think a dress and some heels are a sure-fire way to look/feel more feminine - as long as you're comfortable in them! At the end of the day though, I think femininity, just like beauty, comes from within and I have to say that you look great in this outfit! The dress especially is really lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by my blog!
lovely post! your style is awesome!
ReplyDeletethat color of the dress is amaze-ballz!

Great outfit! You look great in heels. I just love to be feminine, to walk on high heels above all others and feel my legs longer and they just give the silhouette a different allure..And of course...skirts...dresses, ruffles, accessories. When I feel feminine, I feel attractive, not just towards men :P But sometimes of course, I feel boy-ish and I am not in the mood to dress up so I throw on baggy sweaters and flat boots and then I feel.. 70% invisible :))
ReplyDeletecool post ;)
ReplyDeletelove ur blog xx
Eu ce sa mai zic, fara tocuri nu sunt eu:)) Imi plac femeile care arata a femei, care poarta fuste si pantofi nu neaparat cu toc dar feminini(adica nu bocanci de santierist), cele care se parfumeaza si sunt cochete, machiate, aranjate, dichisite:) You get the point. Si ti-am mai spus, iti sta foarte bine in fuste, sper sa te vedem mai des asa:*
ReplyDeletethis outfit inspired me to wear my wine red items next time...
