APRIL OUTFIT | my own version

Hello everyone ! I can't explain how excited I am to re-re-re-visit Maramures, the most beautiful part of the country in my opinion. If you have been reading this blog long enough, I must know what we wear our traditional costumes to church & on other special occasions. I am very attach to this tradition and I tought I could adapt it a bit to the urban area as well. So, I made a scarf out of a fabric which was supposed to be for the skirts, called "sumna" and I paired it with the little bag ("traista"). Of course I had to wear something modern so I put on some heels and  this minty large shirt - perfect for this summer ! 

Do you like it ? Do you hate it ? 

PS: When I'll come back I'll make a complete post about our traditional costumes, so DON'T MISS THAT !

APRIL OUTFIT | you can make a click, making me pop

Hello dear readers ! Since my  thrifting adventure, I have been eager to wear all those pretty things but the weather had other plans. Today, finally, I was able to enjoy this cropped shirt and I thought that it would go really well with these accessories. Especially with the starry ring  received from the lovely team of Oasap :)

I can't put it in words how excited I am about this wonderful weather and about my trip to my grandparent's village tomorrow. So, until next time, I wish you a wonderful Easter with your friends & family !

APRIL OUTFIT | SUN IS IN THE SKY

 Hello dear readers ! The sun is up again and I can't stop listening to Lily Allen's albums. 

I had to go to rehearsals this morning and when I woke up I suddenly thought about this long denim coat that I've never ever worn before. I added the gray and white "basics" and as you could see, I am quite into wearing scarfs as hair accesories lately. I felt really good in this outfit although I got several people staring.. 

But who cares ? "sun is in the sky, oh why, oh why, would I wanna be somewhere else?"

APRIL OUTFIT | I'M LAZY AND I KNOW IT ...

How do you do, dear readers? I hope you are having a much more active / fun Sunday than I do - it's been raining since morning and I didn't even think about getting out of the bed. I snapped this quick photos to introduce you too in the same lazy and cosy state that I am in (how thoughtful, ring?). So now I'm going back to watching 90210 and drifting down into the higher life...

APRIL OUTFITS | BEST FRIENDS

This is not the ordinary  outfit post that I planned to do but when I met with Ana earlier today we have decided to go for something urban and fun. I really love my relationship with Ana and the fact that we truly share our madness for fashion & theatre. If you like her style, don't be shy and tell me and I will make sure we'll create more spontanous shootings, just like this one :) Hugs xx

APRIL PREY | gotta love thrifting

This is definitely not the kind of post I usually do but I'm still under the euphoric feeling of thrifting so read this, before I regret posting something none would be interested in. 

Earlier today I had THAT feeling in my stomach,  the one  you get everytime you know something good is about to happen and I knew I must go thrift shopping. Wise decision, I'd say ! I ended up with three full bags of blazers, bags and shirts and with my feet really hurt, but who cares ?! I reaaaaallly can't wait to get them out from the washing machine and start mix'n'matching them. 

Oh, and there is a moral of a fable in this too : listen to your heart (or stomach) every time it tells you what to do. If you feel like shopping, do it ! If you feel like spending a whole afternoon wandering instead of studing, do it. 

DO WHAT YOU LOVE AND DO IT OFTEN. AMEN !

APRIL INSPIRATION | WHEN IN DISPAIR, REDECORATE !

It seems like nature loves playing tricks on us. Who would expect a snowy day in April ?! 

But unlike my fellow facebook users, I didn't post the obvious "oh no, it's snowing!" status. Instead, I spent some lovely time browsing on freshome.com & digsdigs.com in search of inspiration.

 And I actually found something that made me want to run straight to my living room and rearrage it all. 

So, I couldn't help not sharing with you this fabulous Californian residence overlooking the Ocean ♥ Enjoy ! xx

I've been experimenting a lot lately with skirts, heels, hair accesories or pink lips and it feels great so far.

MARCH OUTFIT | put your glasses on

Hello dear readers ! This is just a quick post of what I was wearing the previous weekend where I had to show you this blazer, which has (suprisingly) become one of my favourites - probably because of its masculing shape and paisley print... Also, I think it goes really well with my beloved leo-print skirt. Aaaand, last but definitely not least, I am quite in love with this pair of glasses from C&A xx Do you like them ?

MARCH OUTFIT | GO OUTSIDE & READ !

Yes ! I am totally back in business - having successfully taken my CAE exam, life can go back to normal. 

Or not, as I plan to experiment as much as I can during these beautiful & sunny weeks. As you can see, I started with this quite unusually girly outfit, but I really love the shinny skirt and mom's leather jacket. I think that this spring is all about stepping out your confort zone and having fun :) 

I assume that I have this attitude because of "One hundred years of soliturde" , the beautiful written book by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I am totally absorbed by the fascinating town Macondo and its inhabitants' lives and I really recommend this book to everyone ! :) So take my advice and go outside and read !
